Everything you need to know to buy with confidence, seamlessly sell your car, and explore NCBA financing options.

CarDuka partners with NCBA Bank to offer end-to-end car financing. You can apply directly from any eligible listing, submit your documents online, and get a financing decision without leaving the platform.
Applicants must be Kenyan residents aged 21 or older with a valid ID, KRA PIN, six months of bank statements or pay slips, and a regular source of income. Self-employed applicants may need to provide additional business documents.
100% financing is available on selected vehicles for qualifying applicants. Most cars require a deposit of 10–20% of the vehicle's value, depending on the car's age and your credit profile.
The standard deposit ranges from 10% to 20% of the vehicle price. Newer vehicles and stronger applicant profiles attract lower deposits.
Monthly payments depend on the loan amount, repayment period (up to 60 months), interest rate, and deposit. Use the financing calculator on any listing to get an instant estimate.
No. You do not need to be an existing NCBA customer to qualify. NCBA will open a servicing account for you as part of the loan disbursement process.
Yes. For self-employed applicants and small business owners, six months of M-Pesa statements can be submitted in place of bank statements.
Each auction has a start time, end time, and a reserve price. Bidders place bids in real time; the highest bid at the end of the auction wins, provided the reserve is met. You'll be notified instantly if you've been outbid.
A hammer bid is a single manual bid. An auto bid lets you set a maximum amount — CarDuka will automatically bid on your behalf up to that maximum, only outbidding others by the minimum increment.
Yes. A small buyer's commission is added to the winning bid. The exact fee is shown on every auction listing before you place a bid.
The reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. If bidding ends below the reserve, the seller is not obligated to sell, but CarDuka may negotiate between the parties.
Most auctions run for 24 to 72 hours. The exact start and end times are displayed on each auction listing.
You receive a winner confirmation, instructions to pay the deposit within 24 hours, and a vehicle handover schedule. Our team will guide you through inspection, payment, and ownership transfer.
Yes. You can apply for NCBA financing on auction wins, subject to standard credit assessment. Pre-approval before bidding is recommended so you bid with confidence.
All auction cars list a full inspection report and condition grading. We disclose known issues upfront, but as with any used car, buyers are encouraged to review the report and inspect the vehicle before bidding.
Confirmation is usually instant. If it hasn't arrived within 30 minutes, contact support@carduka.com with your transaction reference and we'll reconcile manually.
Browse listings, click 'Buy Now' or 'Make Offer' on a car you like, complete the purchase request, and our team will guide you through inspection, payment, and ownership transfer.

Absolutely. You can pay in full via bank transfer, RTGS, or M-Pesa. Financing is optional.
Both. Each listing clearly labels the seller as a verified dealer or a verified private seller.
Yes. You can book a free inspection at the seller's location, or have CarDuka's mobile inspection team verify the vehicle on your behalf.
You'll receive the original logbook (transferred to your name), sale agreement, NTSA transfer confirmation, and any service history the seller provided.
CarDuka handles the NTSA TIMS transfer on your behalf as part of the purchase. The logbook is typically updated within 7–14 working days.
When financed, the logbook is jointly registered in your name and the financier's name (NCBA) until the loan is fully repaid, after which the lien is discharged.
Click 'Sell a Car', enter your vehicle details, upload photos, set your price (or choose Auction), and our team will review and publish your listing.
Our concierge sales option: CarDuka photographs, lists, markets, screens buyers, manages inspections, and closes the sale on your behalf for a small success fee.
Listing is free. We charge a small success fee only when your car sells; the exact fee is shown when you list.
Apply via the 'Sell a Car > Dealer' flow. Submit your business registration, KRA PIN, and a director's ID. Verification usually takes 1–2 working days.
Most dealer accounts are verified within 24–48 hours after we receive all required documents.

Once the car is sold and funds clear, CarDuka transfers the net proceeds (sale price minus the agreed success fee) directly to your bank or M-Pesa account.
It's a trust mark awarded to sellers whose vehicles have passed CarDuka's enhanced inspection and are pre-approved for NCBA financing — making them safer and faster to buy.
It tells you the car has been independently inspected, the logbook has been verified, and the vehicle qualifies for instant NCBA financing — reducing your risk and accelerating purchase.
The badge confirms inspection results at a point in time and that the seller has been KYC-verified. It is not a warranty — we still recommend you review the inspection report and request a test drive.
Review the inspection report, test drive the car, verify the logbook against the seller's ID, and complete payment through CarDuka's official channels — never directly to an unknown account.
Apply from your dealer/seller dashboard. Once you submit your documents, our team inspects your vehicles and your account. Approved sellers receive the badge on all eligible listings.
